In the busy season, we may be fully booked so it is important to make a booking via WhatsApp (+855 978 269 741). Don’t wait until you arrive in Sen Monorom of Mondulkiri.

Please pay us on the morning of the tour. We accept payment in US Dollars, Cambodian Riel or Credit Cards. Credit cards have a 2% surcharge.

Our tours start from the Mondulkiri Homestay in Sen Monorom. We also pick up from six guesthouses close to town. When you book our confirmation email will provide you with more information on these guesthouses and pick up times.

We are open every day of the year, including weekends.

Yes, we are open in all weather conditions. So be prepared to get muddy and bring a raincoat (or we can offer you a poncho). It is magical being in the forest when the rain falls. Elephants love the rain and playing in the mud.

  • Enclosed footwear for our jungle treks.
  • Sports sandals are okay for our one-day tours but ants might bite your toes.
  • Swimwear and a towel.
  • Sun protection – hat and sunscreen.

  • Lots of energy, especially for the one- and two-day jungle treks

In our two- or three-day tours, you will sleep in hammocks in nature.  There is no WIFI or 3G. Hammocks have mosquito nets built in, and we provide blankets so you do not need a sleeping bag. We also bring a high-quality touch so we can enjoy food and happy water after dark. Since we are trekking through the jungle, we will utilize natures toilet facilities and showers.

No, you don’t need carry all of your belongings with you. We have a locked storeroom at the Mondulkiri Homestay Bungalows where you can safely store your unwanted belongings. You will need a small day pack for your clothes and a water bottle that you will use during the trek.

  • Our jungle treks have up to 19km of trekking a day with several steep hill climbs so you need to have a medium level of fitness.
  • We have stops along the way and a long lunch break. In the rainy season it is a bit more difficult because the ground can be muddy and slippery.
  • Our new 1.5 day tour has a shorter 9km jungle trek if 19km in one day is too much for you.

  • Children 6 – 11 years old have a 50% discount.
  • Children 5 and under are free.

  • There is always a meat dish and a vegetarian dish available. Please message us if you are vegetarian or have any allergies.
  • We have a team of local men and women who prepare authentic and delicious Khmer food daily. At lunch you might be served soups or stir fries, white rice, and a plate of tropical fruit for dessert.
  • Dinner is a traditional hill tripe soup cooked in bamboo over the campfire.
  • Breakfast is bread with jam or rice with pork. We also serve a choice of tea or coffee.
  • You may want to bring additional snack foods for our jungle treks.
  • Unlimited water is provided free of charge.

  • If you do not want to meet our elephants, we have a one day jungle trek ($35).
  • In dry season we sometimes have a two day jungle trek ($70). Minimum 3-6 people. Start time 8.30am.
