Welcome to Putang Community Tour
My name is Mr Vanny. I hope you will come and visit the elephants living at the Putang Community Tour.
The Putang Community Tour is an elephant sanctuary located in eastern Cambodia. We run elephant and jungle trek tours.
By joining one of our tours, you help support local communities and villagers, as many rely on tourism to support their families.
Your tour money is also used to provide community benefit and elephants health care so they can live at our community forest and be kept away from elephant rides, zoos & heavy farm work.
We also support the local Bunong hill tribes with employment, medicine & food donations.
We are 100% Cambodian and not owned and managed by foreigners. We empower locals by providing them with jobs at our sanctuary.
We do not employ foreign tour guides nor have volunteers taking paid work away from locals.

Welcome to Mondulkiri Province – Cambodia’s Green Jewel!
Tucked away in the wild and mountainous east of Cambodia, Mondulkiri Province is a hidden gem waiting to be explored. With its rolling hills, cool climate, cascading waterfalls, and rich indigenous culture, Mondulkiri offers a breathtaking contrast to the lowland plains of the country.
What to Expect on the Elephant Tour:
Morning Briefing and Jungle Trek
Your day begins with an orientation where guides explain the mission of the project and introduce you to the elephants. You'll then trek through the jungle, following your guide as you walk side by side with the elephants. This is not about dominating or riding them, but about observing and connecting with them in their natural environment.
